Foster to cover Tennessee for Transcontinental Direct

Larry D. Foster has joined Transcontinental Direct, one of the country’s leading direct marketing service providers, as a sales executive responsible for business development in Tennessee and surrounding areas. He will be based in Nashville, Tenn.

Foster comes to the company after serving as a direct mail broker for 360 VCG, where he was responsible for planning and executing sales strategies and establishing a competitive marketing position in his assigned region. Prior to that, he worked as a territory sales executive for MailSouth Inc., Birmingham, Ala., the nation’s largest independent provider of shared mail services.

In addition, he has served as sales and marketing director for Orblink/Unitel, Inc., a Jackson, Miss.-based Internet service provider, and as a senior account executive for Capital City Communications, a media purchasing and placement concern also based in Jackson, Miss. 

Foster is a board member of the Jackson Advertising Federation, American Advertising Federation and F.L.A.R.E. magazine. In addition, he is a member of the Memphis Advertising Federation and has served as a marketing consultant to American Web-info. He is a graduate of Jackson State University, where he majored in business administration.
