November 2002 — CC3 West in Downey, Calif., has been named a "Best Workplace in America" by the Master Printers of America (MPA) and Printing Industries of America for
the second consecutive year. The annual award honors companies within the graphic arts/printing industry demonstrating excellence in their employee relations
initiatives. CC3 West was also a recipient of the award in 2001.
Awards are granted based on expert evaluations of a company's work environment and organizational culture, training and development opportunities, financial
security, personal/work-life balance, recognition and rewards, and health and well-being.
Headed by Jay Garner, Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing, CC3 West is a dynamic workplace full of resourceful, energetic employees dedicated to
maintaining a first-class working environment and highly efficient operation.
November 2001 — CC3 also earned a 2001 Best Workplace in America Award from the Printing
Industries of America's Master Printers Division. CC3 West's operation was the only pure direct mail marketing company
to be selected, and only one of two California-based operations in the second-annual rankings.
This award is bestowed upon a company that provides its employees with an outstanding Human Relations program.
In profiling the winners and explaining what it means to be a Best Workplace, Graphic Arts Monthly magazine stated
the award acknowledges, "printing companies and their employees that work together to foster a sense of pride and
value at work." Contenders were evaluated in the areas of: Work Environment and Organizational Culture; Training
and Development Opportunities; Financial Security; Personal/Work-Life Balance; Recognition and Rewards; and Health
and Well-Being.
"The value of being recognized locally as a Best Workplace recipient results in better retention of excellent employees
already on staff and is beneficial in attracting new qualified employees," said Conrad Levenduski, chairman of the Best
Workplace in America Program.
This award recognizes CC3's goals of providing staff members with the greatest possible opportunities and working
conditions, which, in turn, result in building a roster of the best talent among the direct marketing service
providers. We already knew our team is comprised of the best workers in America, and we're thankful that our
industry association has shone a spotlight on our dedication and commitment to providing them with the best
workplace possible.
